In the beginning of the episode, Next day morning Dev gets to Soha’s room and kisses her forehead and gets emotional. Soha wakes and asks Dev why did he come late yesterday and not kiss him goodnight. Dev hugs her and asks her to get dressed for school as he will drop her.
Dev in their room, asks Sonakshi what are we going to do. Sonakshi replies that they can’t change what has happened. Dev adds that they have to sort things out. Sonakshi tells Dev that they can’t tell Ishwari anything yet as they don’t know how she’ll react. Ishwari and Soha come to their room to read the essay. Ishwari asks Dev why did he return late? Dev says he had to work late. Dev gets a call from the hospital, informing him that Rohit has died.
Dev and Sonakshi go to Rohit’s parents house. They thank him for helping with the last rites. Sonakshi asks if she can see Ayush. Rohit’s mother tells them that he cried himself to sleep, but they could go and look. She takes them to the room and tells them that it was Rohit and Ayush’s room, Ayush had a habit of holding his hand while sleeping. Sonakshi asks about his mother. She tells them Rohit’s wife died when Ayush was young. Dev tells Rohit’s parents that he’ll take Ayush tomorrow.
Sonakshi asks Dev, why did he haste into bringing Ayush home? Dev says he couldn’t let him be alone anymore. Sonakshi tells Dev it’s all going to be new for Ayush it will be hard on him. Sonakshi says they also have to tell Ishwari.
Dev and Sonakshi return home and ask Ishwari to sit down. Dev tells Ishwari about Ayush. Ishwari refuses to believe, she says such things only happen in movies. Dev tells Ishwari that it is true. Ishwari then questions Sonakshi about how she could not recognise her kid. She taunts Sonakshi that giving birth to a child and becoming a mother are two different things.
Upcoming- Dev tells Ayush that he is his father. Ayush questions him how to believe him? Then both Dev and Sonakshi bring Ayush home. Ishwari waits on the door for them.
