At the beginning of the episode, Sonakshi looks for Soha, Ishwari tells her that Soha has gone with Vicky to his place and she’ll stay there for some days. Sonakshi says that it will be a change of scene for her. Mamiji asks Sonakshi if she went shopping? Sonakshi tells her that it’s therapeutic to shop once in a while. Sonakshi gives Ayush a bag and tells him that she thinks he’ll like it. Ayush thanks Sonakshi and calls her Aunty. Mamiji asks Ayush to call Sonakshi, mom. Sonakshi interrupts her says let him decide when he wants to call her mother.
Dev returns home and sees Ayush playing with skates. Dev asks Ayush who got him skates. Ayush tells him that Sonakshi got him the gift. Dev tells himself that he is pleased that Sonakshi is making progress towards Ayush to bond with him. Sonakshi is on a video call with Elina and Bijoy. Elina tells them that her photos are getting a lot of likes today and she is very excited. Bijoy tells Sonakshi that she looks upset and he thinks that the cause of it is Dev. Bijoy sees Dev in the frame and says to Sonakshi he’ll speak to her later. Dev jokes with Sonakshi by saying that she is reporting to Bijoy. Sonakshi replies that one should share their experiences with the family. Dev apologies to Sonakshi for not showing up at the café as something came up at work. Sonakshi gets a call from work she gets busy, Dev tries to show her his front page appearance on the magazine. When she doesn’t notice, he goes outside the room on a call. Sonakshi notices the magazine and congratulates Dev.
Golu and Soha play games, while Elina chats with the stranger. Where she tells him that she is married, and he says that he is not bothered with it. Soha tells Golu that she doesn’t like Ayush at all and she feels that Ayush is not going anywhere from her house as Ishwari is always showering him with love. Ishwari sees Ayush playing with the skates. Ishwari tells him that his mother got him a dangerous gift. Ayush replies that his mother didn’t get the gift Sonakshi aunty got him the gift. Ishwari tells him that Sonakshi is not his Aunty and neither she is. Sonakshi is his mother and she is his grandmother. Aayush gets scared and runs off. Dev calms Ishwari down and tells her that today he is going to get Ayush admitted to the school. Sonakshi speaks with Bijoy on phone and asks him to accompany her to get Ayush admitted to the school.
Dev and Sonakshi take Ayush to school for admission. The principal asks Ayush his parent’s names, he takes Rohit’s name. The principal tells Dev and Sonakshi that they need to bring documents stating they are his parents as a requirement for School. They get out of the principal’s office and Dev tells Sonakshi that he’ll go today itself to Rohit’s parent’s house and get the custody papers. Dev takes Ayush with him to his grandparent’s house. Ayush is very happy to see them and goes into his room. Dev asks Rohit’s father to sign the adoption paper as today he failed to get Ayush admitted to the new school. Rohit’s father tells him that they are not comfortable giving up Ayush’s custody as that’s the only piece they feel is left of Rohit.
Upcoming- Elina tells Sonakshi that Ishwari sent Soha to her house so that Sonakshi could spend time with Ayush. Ishwari calls a pandit and asks him for a solution as it is getting tough for Ayush to settle in the house. The pandit tells Ishwari to change Ayush’s name. Ayush overhears that conversation and gets scared, while Ishwari decides to name him Dev.
