At the beginning of the episode, Veena tells Purab that she will not accept Thapki as her daughter-in-law. She says that she will handle Amma and ask Purab to leave her at her house. Thapki brings kahda for Veena and tells her that it is the recipe of her mother and it will definitely work. She insists on him drinking kahda. Veena is about to throw the glass but Purab takes the glass and says thanks to her. He asks her to get ready as now she has to go home. Thapki asks him why?
Then she remembers and says that yes she has to go home for pagphera ritual. She asks Is she fine or does she want her to stay. Veena tells her that she can leave. That ki is getting ready and is packing her bag. Purab tells her to get ready fast. He tells her that she takes time in everything. Thapki tells him that now they are married and he should stop talking rudely to her. She says that they can’t live like this, always fighting. Then she goes to the washroom to change her clothes. The gate gets stuck, Purab helps her and they both come closer to each other.
Then while Thapki is leaving she sees the hand of their gardener is bleeding. She stops and does his first aid. Purab’s grandmother stops Thapki and gives her some gift and ask her to them to her family as she is going home the first time after her marriage. Veena is putting gangajal on herself. Amma asks her what is she doing? She says that she has touched and talked to Thapki. She tells her that Thapki can’t sing and she can’t even speak properly because she stammers Amma says that she is innocent and it’s not her fault.
She tells her that she got married to Purab. She tells her that if she had known that she is sending Thapki to her home permanently then she wouldn’t let her do this. Veena says that’s why she didn’t tell her this earlier. She says that she can’t accept Thapki. On the other hand, Thapki’s family welcomes Thapki and Purab. Thapki says that she can’t believe that she has become the daughter-in-law of Veena. Purab says that she wants to tell her something important. Meanwhile, Thapki’s brother comes and takes them downstairs for dinner.
