At the beginning of the episode, Thapki and Purab see each other. He asks her what is she doing here? She says why would she tell him. Purab says that why she gets ready so much. He says that Preeti is getting married but instead of her she is looking like a bride. Thapki tells her that she is the bride. She tells him that today she is getting married. She tells him that did he forgot that she is getting married to Armaan his brother. Purab was confused. He used to think that Thapki’s cousin is getting married to Armaan.
He thinks that he needs to tell his mother about the truth of Thapki that she stammers while speaking. Thapki’s mamaji tells her that he will do the “kanyadaan” of her because she is like his daughter. Armaan’s mother goes to meet Thapki. She tells Priyanka to make the video of her and Thapki having a conversation. Priyanka gets tensed she thoughts that if she speak anything then everyone gets to know the truth about her. Then Purab’s mother gets a call and she goes away. Veena is trying hard to get Hansika admitted to the London school of music.
But things are not going according to her. So she decided to do something else. She bribed the priest and ask him to tell everyone that Armaan’s wedding will happen after half an hour because he is having some problems with his kundali. He does the same. Purab tries to tell Veena about the Thapki but she didn’t listen to him. Veena goes to Thapki’s room and there she tells her and her mother that they used to have a ritual in which the bride has to be in veil and “maun vrat” till marriage. Priyanka listens to this and thinks about what is going on in Veena’s mind because nothing like this has happened in her marriage.
Veena ask Hansika’s parents to give interview to media and ask Hansika to wait. She takes away her phone. She locks her room and exchanges the cards of the rooms of Hansika and Thapki. Veena thinks to herself Now whoever comes to take Hansika will take the Thapki to the mandap and Thapki will get married to Purab. Purab asks her grandmother when will her bride come to the mandap? Priyanka goes to bring Hansika but instead of her, she is taking Thapki to the mandap.
