At the beginning of the episode, Thapki gives the new year’s gift to Purab. She made something for him. Purab says that he loves it. Thapki says that she is not able to spend new year’s eve with him. He then takes her towards sunlight and says that they were not together at the last day of the year but they are together at the beginning of the new year. He then gives her strawberry cupcakes. He made those cupcakes for Thapki. Thapki says that means he didn’t sleep last night. Then they both eat cupcakes and Purab says to her that’s from now onwards they will share everything.
Thapki goes to do aarti. There she wishes her mother happy new year. She tells her that today she is feeling like it’s a new beginning of her life. She is feeling very good and relieved. Then she sees sindoor in the forehead of her mother. She takes her to the side and ask her why she put sindoor today. Her mother tells her that last night she saw her father and he himself out the Sindoor in her forehead. Thapki’s says that she already met him. Her mother ask her then why she didn’t tell her anything.
Thapki says that she don’t consider him as her dad and he don’t deserve any place in their lives. Hansika listens this and says to herself that her father didn’t done the right thing. Preeti gets excited to go at Thapki’s house. Her mother ask her why is she getting so excited. Then she says that if they will go there then they will enjoy. She says that if they will go there then they will get Chance to have lunch in AC and get so many gifts in return.
When they goes there Purab ask them to sit and have tea. Dadi ask everyone to gather in front of Temple. She ask all the couple to put sindoor on the forehead of their wives. When Sagar is about to put sindoor on the forehead of Priyanka Preeti see him. He stops and gets distracted. Then Priyanka ask him to do it fast. Later, Hansika tells Armaan’s mother that she have an idea to create drama and problem in Thapki’s life. She ask her to on the fan. When she on the fan the dupatta of Thapki’s mother falls and everyone sees sindoor on her forehead.
