At the beginning of the episode, Purab and Thapki dance together. Thapki tells Purab that she didn’t know that he don’t like Diwali. Purab says that use has crossed her line. After the dance, Priyanka tells Armaan’s mother that Purab didn’t create any scene and their plan gets failed. She asks her to do something. Armaan’s mother goes to the guest and tells them to meet Thapki as now she is free. Veena sees those ladies approaching Thapki. She asks Thapki to go from there right now. She left from there. Armaan’s wedding and Priyanka get irritated as their plan is not working.
Purab’s friends tell him that now he is changed. Armaan’s mother cuts the rope of a hanging lamp which is just above Veena. She says that when Thapki sees that lamp falling she will shout and everyone gets to know that she stammers. Thapki sees that lamp and is about to go there but Purab also sees it and hold that lamp. Armaan’s mother then cuts the rope of the jhoomar. Thapki sees that Jhoomar about to fall in Veena. She goes and saves her. She asks Veena is she fine? Everyone gets to know that Thapki stammers.
They started making fun of Thapki. Purab gets angry with the guests. He tells them that no one is perfect and everyone has some imperfections in them. He says that they can’t misbehave with his family and with his wife in front of him. Veena goes to her room. Amma ask Veena to calm down her anger because today Thapki saved her life. Veena says that it’s okay for her to die but she doesn’t want to be touched by Thapki
Amma asks Veena to try to accept Thapki for Purab. She tells her that Purab has changed a lot after Thapki comes into his life.
Thapki thinks to herself that she shouldn’t have shouted at Purab. She says that she was thinking wrong that Purab bring her here to irritate her. When Purab comes into the room she says thank you to him. Purab asks her how dare she to call his friends for a party. She says that she received a call from his office to invite them. Purab asks her to don’t lie because everyone in his office knows that he hates Diwali.
The next day, Thapki’s mother calls her to wish her a happy Diwali. One of the gues comes to meet Thapki and asks her if she is fine in this house. Thapki says of course. She says that in this house no one hates and Veena herself chose her to be her daughter-in-law. She says that Veena is like a god to her. She is recording everything.
