At the beginning of the episode, Sudha asks Ranveer to stay for dinner. Dadi also asks him. Ranveer sits at the table with Dadi. He asks Sudha what is for dinner. Sudha says she will bring rajma rice for him. Ishan and Ranveer bind over their love of football. Kammo and Nikki gossip about Ranveer. Ranveer tells Kammo that he got that video deleted from the internet.
Riya asks about Rakesh. Sudha tells her that Rakesh will be late. Riya says then she will also have dinner and sit. Kammo says she made matar paneer and dal makhani and serves for him. Ranveer takes a bite and says it is too spicy and he cannot eat that. Sudha serves Rajma. Ranveer says she makes food just like her mother, simple and tasty. Ranveer says her PEDAS were also very nice. Suhani offers her more rice.
Ranveer tells Sudha to take care of Suhani but he ignores her. Suhani tells Riya that he is still upset with her. Riya says she behaved in such a way. Sudha gives him gulab jamun and tells him not to be angry with Suhani. Ranveer says he is just pretending to be angry but she should not tell this to her.
Ranveer thinks of his mother while going back. He takes bouquet and goes to his house. He gives flowers to Mamta. She is very happy to see him and asks why he is so happy. Ranveer says he had rajma rice made by his mother. Mamta thinks he is talking about Asha. Ranveer tells her not to worry and says the future top doctor’s mother gave him food. Mamta tells her to stay there that night and goes to put flowers in vase in her room. She says she will bring turmeric milk for him.
Asha brings turmeric milk for Ansh. Ansh throws the glass and screams at her for insulting him by saying sorry. He tells Asha to fight for his rights. Mamta sees Asha’s call on Vikrant’s phone. Mamta tells Asha not to cross her limits. Asha says she had to call for her son’s sake. Mamta says she is trying to trap Vikrant again. Asha says Vikrant lied to her about his marriage and her son was given no rights. Mamta says Vikrant got away from her because of Asha. Asha says Vikrant uses people in business and life but she is glad to see that his son is not like him. Mamta warns her never to interfere in their life.
Mamta goes out crying and sees Ranveer outside the room. Ranveer goes in angrily. Vikrant comes from the bathroom. Ranveer blames Vikrant for Mamta’s tears. Mamta tells him to keep quiet and not argue. Vikrant says he gets tired in the office and does not want to hear his taunts in home.
Mamta takes him to hall. Ranveer tells Mamta to pack her bags and go with him. Mamta says only his father is not responsible for it but he also gives her tension by fighting in college. She takes him to the temple and asks him to swear on her life that he will not stay in the hostel anymore but in the house. Ranveer agrees. Mamta is happy to hear that and thinks she is keeping her here so that he does not come to know of Ansh’s truth. Mamta tells Ranveer not to act like her parent when she is his mother.
Mamta tells everyone at the breakfast table that Ranveer will stay with them from now one. He comes and teases his cousin. Dadu does his AARTI and teases they cannot eat without AARTI, when he shows his face after months.
Suhani gets up in hurry and hurts her foot. Sudha tells her to rest her foot and not go to college. Suhani says she cannot miss college as she has an important lecture. Sudha says she will bring a hot water bag for her. Rakesh hears them.
