At the beginning of the episode, Dev tells Rohit’s parents that they need to sign the papers for Ayush’s education. Dev tells him that he needs the custody of Ayush for securing his future. Ayush overheard their conversation. Ayush asks Dev and Sonakshi about the sign that Dev was asking his grandfather to do. Sonakshi tells him that Rohit wanted them to keep him and take care of him so, for that they need to have his custody. Dev then tells Ayush that now on in the father and mothers column it will be Sonakshi and Dev’s name so that they can take decisions for him and it doesn’t get difficult at school and people don’t think that they have kidnapped him. Ayush tells him that they are fooling him, and his father is Rohit and not him and he would not change his name. Ayush goes to his room and sees his textbook where his name Ayush Rohit Verma is written and says that he would never let anyone change his name as his identity is connected to his father’s name and it will always be.
The next day, Dev goes to the garden and sees Ayush watering the plants. Dev gets off his phone and tells Sukhi to double the payment to the people who are ready to leave the land as their case would get stronger. Dev asks Ayush if he is upset about yesterday. Ayush tells him that he doesn’t want to talk about it. Dev leaves him. Ishwari comes there and offers Ayush grapes. Ayush addresses Ishwari as aunty and tells her that he will eat it afterward and thanks to her. Ishwari tells him that she is his grandmother. Ayush refuses to accept that and goes away. At the office, an old lady enters his cabin and requests him to not throw her out of the land as the hospital nearby is where her ill daughter gets treated. Dev tells Sukhi to do whatever he can to help her daughter and he then tells the lady that he needs the land to fulfill his dream project and he legally has bought that land. Sonakshi goes to pick Soha from Elena’s house. Sonakshi calls Soha and Golu, they come and she gives them chocolates. Soha asks Sonakshi about the two other chocolates in her purse. Sonakshi tells it’s for Shubh and Ayush. She gets upset and goes away.
Sonakshi reads the chats that Elena is doing with a stranger on the laptop. She scolds Elina and tells her to behave as that could be a creep or a perverted psychopath and she could danger all of her family. Elena then tells Sonakshi that she is happy that the kids got time to spend together. Sonakshi says yes it was good of Vicky. Elena tells Sonakshi that it was Ishwari’s plan to send Soha so that she and Ayush could spend some time together. Sonakshi brings back Soha to the house and asks her to go to her room. Sonakshi then questions Ishwari about her doing. Ishwari admits and says that Sonakshi needs to agree with her that finally, she could spend some time with Ayush when Soha was away. Sonakshi says she doesn’t need to keep Soha away so that she could bond with Ayush. Ishwari says that Ayush is just like Dev, he is slow to let people in his life so she has to put in a little more effort. Sonakshi tells Ishwari that she is not letting her son be another Dev and neither she is going to be another Ishwari. Dev overhears their conversation and gets angry at Sonakshi for speaking ill to Ishwari. Soha and Ayush hear their conversation and Soha tells Ayush that they are fighting because of him.
Upcoming- Ishwari calls and a pandit to look for a solution to make Ayush settle in the house. The pandit suggests Ishwari to change Ayush’s name. Ayush overhears their conversation and gets worried. Soha tells him that in the house whatever Ishwari says happens.
